License terms for using Aegis Development products, documentation, Discord communities, bots, and other content.
1. Scope
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") applies to all Aegis Development property you access or use (the "Aegis Property"), including:
our software, bots, add-ons, dashboards, source code, and builds
our documentation and documentation content (text, images, examples)
our Discord servers and community spaces we operate
our brand assets (names, logos, product names) and related materials
any other digital content or materials we provide
If a Product-specific license is included with a Product, that license controls for that Product.
Use of our websites and services is also governed by our Terms of Service.
2. Definitions
"Aegis" / "Aegis Development" / "We" means the provider and owner (or licensor) of the Aegis Property.
"You" means the individual or entity using the Aegis Property.
"Software" means our bots, software, add-ons, dashboards, source code, and builds.
"Documentation" means our docs pages and any content on them.
"Community" means our Discord servers and any channels we operate.
"Instance" means one running deployment of the Software (example: one Discord bot process).
"Server" means one Discord guild.
3. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, Aegis grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
access and use the Aegis Property for your own internal use
install and run the Software only within the limits of your purchased license (if applicable)
view and use the Documentation to operate and configure Products you are authorized to use
participate in the Community channels we operate, subject to our rules and moderation decisions
You receive a license. You do not receive ownership.
4. License limits (what you can’t do)
You must not, and must not allow others to:
resell, redistribute, or repackage the Aegis Property
sublicense, rent, lease, or provide the Software as a hosted service for third parties
share license keys, builds, or private download links
mirror, republish, or re-host our Documentation (including “copy/paste docs” sites)
scrape our Documentation at scale (automated crawling, bulk export) without written permission
bypass, remove, or modify licensing, authentication, or usage-limit controls
reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except where prohibited by law
remove or alter copyright notices, credits, watermarks, or branding
use Aegis branding in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or official affiliation without written permission
use any Aegis Property for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity (including violating Discord policies)
5. Permitted customization
You may configure the Software and edit non-core settings.
You must not modify core functionality in a way that:
disables licensing or attribution
enables redistribution or hosted resale
violates these terms
6. Updates and changes
We may ship updates, patches, or changes.
We may also change, suspend, or discontinue features.
7. Support
Support, if offered, is provided via our community channels.

8. Ownership and intellectual property
The Aegis Property is protected by copyright and other laws.
Aegis retains all right, title, and interest in the Aegis Property, including all improvements and derivatives.

9. Third-party services
Your use of the Aegis Property may depend on third-party services (example: Discord, PayPal, hosting providers).
Their terms apply to you.
10. Termination
This license ends automatically if you violate this EULA.
On termination, you must stop using the Aegis Property and delete copies you control.
We may also revoke keys, block updates/download access, and remove you from Community spaces we operate.
11. Disclaimer
The Aegis Property is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE".
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Aegis is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Aegis’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable Product in the last 3 months
13. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, excluding conflict of law rules.
